BLOOD BROTHERS |

165 GEARY AVE

“Industrial old Geary Avenue has become one of Toronto’s most interesting food strips…But what preceded them all was this brewery and taproom run by brothers Dustin and Brayden Jones. A perch on the corner patio is an ideal midpoint on a neighbourhood food crawl and the perfect place to sip a Shumei, a dank-smelling West Coast IPA that’s been part of the brewery’s rotation since day one.” – Toronto Life

FAMIGLIA BALDASSARRE |

122 GEARY AVE

Famiglia Baldassarre hand-makes 27 traditional types of wholesale fresh pasta from scratch for some of Toronto’s best restaurants, and also turns into a restaurant for a two-hour lunch service four days a week.“Behind the counter, pasta-makers stand at a large work top, forming perfectly uniform squares of ravioli, totally unfazed as the front of the room fills with hungry diners who are just getting a taste of whatever they happen to be making that day, and it’s excitingly fresh, delicious and priced suspiciously close to market value.” – TRNTO
